what is good: a happy list
Long ago in my early (read: cringe-worthy) blogging days I had this thing going called Felicitous Findings, wherein I'd list a few things that were currently making me happy.
Felicity is such a great word. And alliteration never ceased to thrill me, evidently.
Call it gratitude, call it optimism, call it what you will -- right now I'm calling it
what is good:
// this new love affair I've got going on with real calligraphy.
// cats getting all squishy and lovey.
// the late sunlight, especially as it's setting out our studio window.
// seeing the Providence Public Library set for a wedding, and wishing the old historic part still housed the lending library. (And working the wedding wasn't half bad, either.)
// sisters that are now taller than you and twelve years younger than you who you will always assume to be six years old.
// celebrating a year of making really big life changes. Whew.
You with me?
